Vijay Kumar Sinha, an Indian politician, serves as the Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar alongside Samrat Choudhary, under the leadership of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. Previously, he held the position of the leader of the opposition in the Bihar Legislative Assembly. As a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party, he has represented the Lakhisarai constituency in the Bihar Legislative Assembly since 2010.
From November 25, 2020, to August 24, 2022, Vijay Sinha served as the Speaker of the Bihar Legislative Assembly. He resigned from this role after facing a no-confidence motion brought against him by the then-ruling Mahagathbandhan.
